Set in a peaceful spot in the Tuscan countryside, it's perfect for relaxing and sightseeing. It’s also a quick hop by car on the A1 motorway to the designer factory outlets, where you can snap up a bargain from top fashion houses including Prada and Gucci.

This is just the kind of place where discerning fashionistas can retreat behind their shades on the sun terrace by the large private pool or sipping a glass of wine in the shade of the pergola. It’s a good choice, too, for a family with young children, who will value the stress-free one-level living, a private pool that has been thoughtfully fenced in, and vast gardens for little legs to frolic in. The village of Cavriglia is within easy walking distance, a pleasant place to rub shoulders with the locals. It’s also the gateway to Chianti, offering a great base for wine lovers who wish to enjoy a thorough exploration of these world-famous vineyards. 

A fifth person can be accommodated on a fold-away bed in the twin bedroom. The owners – a couple and their adult daughter – live in the apartment upstairs. It is a peaceful spot, but some traffic can be heard. The owners have their own separate entrance, driveway and garden. They also own two large friendly dogs. The owners kindly request that no one feed the dogs.
