The active may want to use the Cresta del Chianti's volleyball court or explore the endless marked walking and biking trails in the surrounding countryside. The basement gymnasium offers a place to work out or perfect your table football and American pool skills and the large swimming pool is ideal for a refreshing afternoon dip.

Day-trippers will be inspired to visit Siena 15Km away, San Gimignano at 30Km and Florence at 50Km, while village life can be found closer to home at Vagliagli's restaurant 1.7Km away or at the Chianti towns of Castellina, Radda and Lecchi all within 10Km. Wine lovers will not be disappointed to hear that Cresta del Chianti's terroir is as good as it is beautiful, there are ten wineries within 5Km of the villa and the villa has its own private wine tasting room in the basement.

After another perfect day in Tuscany, all may want to return home for a grill or pizza evening on request to the house manager, then return to the fire pit to experience the fireflies, open skies and summer moon spectacular across the Chianti hills.
