Il Molinaccio

 With origins dating back to the early Middle Ages, Il Molinaccio was initially built as a defence watchtower and has since been reconstructed as a traditional rural villa. The building is steeped in history, especially its external walls, which are over a metre thick in some areas. Moreover, it has been expertly restored to include modern comforts while preserving its rustic charm. Situated in the heart of the Chianti region, the villa offers a perfect base for exploring this famous wine-producing area. The sights of Florence, San Gimignano, and especially Siena are also easily accessible.

Set in tranquil surroundings, the villa is enveloped by lush green trees that offer both shade and privacy. The secluded pool area is complemented by a barbecue and a long wooden dining table set under a gazebo, perfect for leisurely outdoor meals. A gentle river meanders through the grounds, crossed by a sturdy wooden bridge that adds to the charm. Near the entrance, you'll find a comfortable outdoor seating area, perfect for group gatherings. The garden is also brimming with recreational amenities, including a ping-pong table, a sauna, a table-football set, and a children’s playground, ensuring fun for all ages.

Enter the main house through a pair of double doors that open directly into the large kitchen/diner. This room, along with the dedicated dining room, features a rustic wooden table with chairs. This dining room also has a wide set of arched French doors and high vaulted ceilings in traditional rural decorations. The lounge boasts long comfortable sofas with an open fireplace. The spacious and welcoming bedrooms are located on the first floor, along with a billiard room and a small library. An additional bedroom on the ground floor can accommodate up to four guests. The owner lives in a small cottage on the property grounds with a separate entrance, ensuring your privacy.
