Le Cerreta

Set atop a sunlit Chianti hill near the beautiful town of Gaiole, Le Cerreta is an exceptional private hideaway. It’s shielded from the outside world by lines of trees, and yet the views are still magnificent, looking out across the rolling fields, lush forests and distant peaks. A large balcony terrace is joined to the kitchen, perfectly positioned to admire this natural spectacle, and features an elegant set of cushioned outdoor furniture, an array of coffee tables and an expansive parasol. Another great place to admire the surroundings is from within the crystal clear infinity pool. This is set beside a second terrace with a table, six chairs and a parasol – ideal for al fresco dining.



Inside you’ll find a homely and neatly designed interior, spread across two floors on a split level. The upper floor is dominated by a spacious open-plan lounge, diner and kitchen area. This has access to no less than three terraces, one on the balcony, one by the pool, and a smaller third terrace under a loggia, reached via a series of wooden steps. Inside, there is a wooden dining table, a lounge area with a flat-screen TV and comfy chairs, and a well-equipped kitchen, including a full-size fridge-freezer, a gas hob and oven, and an extractor fan. An office area is found next to the window. Downstairs, you’ll find three bedrooms, each with elegant and tasteful designs.
