Sitting on a Chianti Classico hillside Le Piane is a collection of five holiday cottages nestled in the woods. The surrounding oak trees give the cottages, with their private gardens and terraces, a shaded sanctuary from the midday sun while the open aspect infinity swimming pool offers sun soakers the chance of cooling dip. As the sun sets over the vines, olives and oak forests, the nighttime brings out nature where you'll sit back and watch the wildlife play and the twinkling distant stars in the black sky.

When in the Chianti, wine is never far and Le Piane is no exception. Le Miccine winery, open for tours and tastings, is 800 meters away. While sitting enjoying a glass of their wine, you can plan a day trip to Siena, Florence and San Gimignano. Foodies will have the towns of Gaiole in Chianti at 4 km and Radda in Chianti at 6 km in their sights for typical artisanal delights. If you're feeling more energetic, you may take time out for an early morning run or bike ride among some of Tuscany's finest landscapes.
