Sant'Angelo Farmhouse

This well-appointed property in a less-visited part of north-eastern Tuscany is on a working farm, which produces grains, honey and jams – perfect for relaxed holiday breakfasts. The lushly forested grounds offer stunning views in all directions making Sant’ Angelo a truly relaxing rural retreat. Cleverly divided into two self-contained apartments, each with three bedrooms, rustic Tuscan features such as terracotta tiles and beamed ceilings have been retained.  Sleeping up to 13 in six bedrooms and with eight bathrooms, there’s also a separate annexe with a kitchen. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor dining spaces for guests to enjoy sociable meals together, including the fully furnished loggia with brick-built barbecue nearby.


The immaculate private gardens are home to your large private swimming pool, where a generously furnished sunbathing area offers guests spectacular rural views. Another paved terrace near the pool is furnished with a table and chairs. While the large wellness centre 20 metres from the villa includes a Jacuzzi, Finnish sauna, vitality pool, heated saltwater pool, chromotherapy shower and relaxation area. On the farm, there is also a lake for fishing (need own equipment), tennis courts (need own equipment) at 100 meters from the villa and fully equipped table tennis (equipment supplied). Guests are invited to harvest vegetables from the garden.

The nearby town of Poppi offers restaurants and grocery stores, while the Foreste Casentinesi national park is an easy drive away.
