Spread over three floors, this spacious villa is set in capacious grounds including an orchard, olive grove and a pine forest laced with walking paths. Towards the back of the property, the private pool offers superb views of Montecatini Terme - famous for its thermal waters and probably the biggest spa town in Italy - and villages on the valley floor. Guests who enjoy the outdoors can choose from lounging on the paved sun deck or getting active and playing one of the many on-site sports, including volleyball, football, basketball and badminton.
The 11 authentically styled bedrooms, and even more bathrooms, mean large groups won’t feel struggle for space. There are two lounges – including a lower ground floor snug hangout with a fireplace and sofas – and a ground floor area with a bar) as well as a gym. The fantastic fully equipped kitchen has enough room to prepare meals for your whole party, while guests can choose to eat at the wooden tables in the dining room, or in fresh air on the large, furnished terrace, with its stone barbecue. Our stay at the villa was lovely. There was everything we needed but the whole experience was made better by the owners. Nothing was too much trouble. They were there every day making sure everything was clean ie the pool,rubbish removed. Stefano booked restaurants for us and even had his brother take us to puck up and drop off the hire car. We did feel that more emphasis should be put on needing a hire car.
